Recently, Lourdes House celebrated their House Feast Day, gathering in the College Chapel recalling the story of St Bernadette. Bernadette remained courageous, honest and faithful to God. Her example to us is of a person who was willing to devote her life to God.
Her story serves as a symbol of hope, and an example of the power that one person’s faith can have on the world. Bernadette reminds us that actions today can create lasting change. Please give generously through Caritas to help vulnerable communities overcome the challenges of poverty. During the celebration, Deacon Mark Kelly blessed the House badges for the new Year 7 students.
Students then participated in a House Challenge before enjoying a shared morning tea. Today was a wonderful celebration of Lourdes House, congratulations to Lourdes 5 and 6 on their tug of war victories!
