In a vibrant display of creativity and cultural appreciation, the Year 10 3D Art class at Marist-Sion College embarked on a remarkable journey inspired by the renowned Hermannsburg Potters. Led by the talented Cynthia Bracken from the Visual Arts department, students embraced the rich heritage and artistic traditions of the Western Arrarnta people in the Northern Territory to create personal functional vases using hand building techniques. As we celebrate NAIDOC Week, it is with great pride that we showcase the exceptional accomplishments of these budding artists.
